I love this restaurant. I love the food, the service and the ambiance. It has a small, neighborhood feel. Highly recommend!

Amazing servers and hot delicious food. Never disappointed. Neighborhood restaurant chosen over newly opened La Cantina

I went there to get some take-out food for supper. The restaurant is small but nice and clean. The menu is extensive with many dishes to choose from. I ordered the Burrito Mexicano and the Enchiladas Rancheros. My order was brought out within about 5 minutes. The portions are generous and these dishes were freshly made, still hot and tasted delicious. A bag of chips and salsa came with our meal and the chips were very lightly salted and crispy. The salsa was also freshly made and tasted delicious. I will definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu.

Tulum is a great Mexican restaurant that serves a great menu of choice, with many plates to try. My favorite is the Tulum bowl without the shrimp due to allergies, that should satisfy an empty stomach. We went because of a family member with a birthday, whom ended with a plate full of whipped cream on her face. No one expected that scene. All in good fun, just be ready with your camera rolling. Service can be slower at times due to the crowd of people enjoying the experience. Eat well, and relax.

A co-worker and I pulled in here on our way to the airport. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant, but this didn't keep us from trying of trying it. It was rainy out, so that may have played a role in the emptiness. We walked in and the layout was much different from the former restaurant, Big Shakes, that was here before. It was welcoming. The staff quickly sat us. They were friendly and on top of drinks. The first thing we noticed was how much of a difference in the price of the food compared some of the other places we go to eat Mexican. I got the chicken fajita salad off the lunch menu ($13) and he got the chicken fajita quesadilla, ($18-$19). Compared to another local spot, the fajita quesadilla was about $5 more expensive and the fajita salad was close to most other places. The food did come out extremely quick, which was a pleasant surprise. It was hot and fresh for sure. My co-worker said the quesadilla wasn't bad. My fajita salad was good. I have no issues paying more for food as long as the cost is warranted. The "sticker shock" of the quesadilla was a bit of a surprise for sure, but the food was tasty.

Very good Mexican food. It's a level up from your standard Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend.

I debated between 3 to 4 stars but since it was my first time here, I decided on 4. There is no shortage of Mexican food in HSV, and each caters to a different crowd. This has a nice ambience and is clean and simple, catering definitely to the research and corporate side of HSV. While this definitely is better than the average Mexican restaurant but isn't the best. My lunch fajitas had good flavor and was seasoned well. The pineapple on top didn't add much, I would prefer if your going to use pineapple then grill a fresh slice instead of a can of dole pre sliced pineapple. Aside from my own personal preference this serves as a good option for those wanting to try a New Mexican restaurant in Huntsville.
Tulum is a family favorite. My husband and 18 month old son eat there almost every week. We love their lunch menu and everything is delicious and fast every time! They will always be our number one place to go!
